How to play Uno

Every player starts with a couple of cards. There are 4 colors: red, blue, yellow and green. These cards all have cards from 0 to 9. There are also special cards. The plus 2 and plus four give your opponents more cards as punishment. You can turn the order around, of who plays the card, with the shuffle card. And you can block other players’ their turn with the block card. Lastly, the change color cards will let you decide what color is going to be played next.

Every player plays 1 card each round. You try to play cards that match with the one on the field. So if a red seven is in the middle, you can lay other red cards on there, or a seven from another color. If you can’t play a card, you need to skip that round, and draw another card from the reserve pile.

The final rule to keep in mind is that you need to hit the Uno button when you have one card left. If you don’t do this, you get a punishment, and you need to draw two more cards!
